Hospice and palliative care
The focus of hospice and palliative work is on the seriously ill and dying person, regardless of age, and their relatives. They need equal attention and care.
Hospice and palliative care work is geared towards the needs and rights of the seriously ill and dying person and their relatives. The primary aim of hospice and palliative work is to enable people to die at home or in their familiar surroundings.
If palliative care at home is not possible or only possible to a limited extent, an inpatient facility is available.
